Birchall Foodservice has commissioned Solomon Commercial to provide the award-winning food wholesaler with a fleet of 33 of its Slipstream vehicles.

The food wholesaler took delivery of seven MAN TGM 18t vehicles in June last year but has placed an order for more vehicles with the leading manufacturer of refrigerated vehicles.

In January, Solomon Commercials supplied Birchall’s with two MAN TGE 3.5t Slipstream side bodies which have been built bespoke to the food wholesaler’s requirements, but the order will see an additional 20 MAN TGM 18t full Slipstream Multi-Temperature trucks, six MAN TGE 3.5t featuring the Slipstream side entry bodies and five of the MAN TGL 12t vehicles by June.

Burnley-based Birchall Foodservice has been in operation for more than 80 years and is a fifth-generation family business and prides itself on its flexibility and local knowledge to help independent caterers flourish.
