With the Commercial Vehicle Show over for another year, Solomon Commercials can reflect on what has been one of the most successful and enjoyable to date.

With it proving to be one of the busiest experienced, all the Solomon team took great pleasure in meeting with current customers and presenting the Solomon product to those new to the brand.

One of the stars of the show in the cool pavilion this year was the new-for-2017 3.5T box body. As the lightest refrigerated body on display in the show with a huge 1350kg payload -confirmed by the live axle weighing display – and described by some as a revolution, there was a huge amount of interest taken in the vehicle from both the media and prospective users.

Not to be satisfied with just one eye-catching vehicle, however, Solomon’s other vehicles all took plenty of attention over the three days. This included a multi-compartment body on a Mercedes Econic chassis, soon to be undertaking deliveries in the London area, and a short wheelbase 18T vehicle also for urban delivery, which displayed a wide variety of safety features, including a prototype of Solomon’s revolutionary new cycle safety concept, which was very well received within the industry for its groundbreaking ideas and a new approach to urban safety.
